Every March we are extremely fortunate to take time off from our corporate jobs (we self-fund Senger) to soak in our version of “Spring Break.” When you hear the term spring break usually you would think of the beach and sun, but we like to do things a little differently.
Throughout the season we always make a few trips to our unofficial home mountain of Mammoth Mountain, CA, but Spring Break has another meaning for us. Looking back over the past few years, we’ve been lucky enough to see and experience so many new and awe-inspiring places during these trips:
2014 Whistler Blackcomb, BC
2015 Jackson Hole, WY
2016 Park City, UT / Squaw Valley, CA
2017 Whistler Blackcomb, BC
2018 Mountain Collective Road Trip: Snowbird, UT, Sun Valley, ID, Snowbasin, UT
2019 Big Sky, MT
These Spring Break trips aren’t just for skiing and snowboarding or to say goodbye to the winter season. These trips are meant to celebrate the reason why we get out, why we travel and explore new mountains, and why we are doing what we are doing. We could go to Mammoth every weekend for the rest of our lives and be completely satisfied, but why be comfortable with being content. Change it up every once and a while and get out outside and explore.
While Spring Break comes and goes each season, the spirit of it is what keeps us going all season long...
We just couldn’t get enough last season. Heading to Big Sky, MT tomorrow for Spring Break 2020. See you on the slopes!
